Welcome to PDF.ai ("we" or "us"). We are a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore with our registered address at Singapore. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered PDF parsing and data extraction services, including all related features, API access, and documentation available at https://pdf.ai (the "Service").
By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

PDF.ai provides an AI-powered platform that enables users to extract data from PDF documents, including invoices, contracts, reports, and other document types. Our Service includes text extraction, table extraction, field extraction, and document Q&A features accessed via web interface and REST API.
This Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product. Payment confirmation provides immediate access to the Service. Due to the immediate delivery nature of digital services, refunds are subject to specific limitations outlined in Section 7.
This Service uses third-party AI model providers, including DeepSeek and other AI infrastructure providers. The performance and availability of our Service may be affected by these providers' operational status. Significant disruptions will be communicated to users promptly.
Use of the Service requires an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all operations performed under your account.
If registering on behalf of a company or organization, you declare that you are authorized to enter into this agreement for that entity.
We offer subscription plans to access the Service. Current plan details and pricing are available at https://pdf.ai/subscribe.
We reserve the right to modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time. Price changes are subject to Section 5.1.
By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you explicitly authorize PDF.ai to charge your payment method for the corresponding subscription fees on a recurring periodic basis. This periodic authorization remains effective until you cancel your subscription per Section 6.
Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. For annual subscriptions, we will send a reminder before renewal.
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.). Where required by applicable law, we will collect and remit such taxes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
Cancellation takes effect immediately. We will send a confirmation email within 10 minutes.
Due to the immediate delivery nature of our digital Service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
Send refund requests to refunds@pdf.ai with your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the refund. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5-10 business days.
If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us at billing@pdf.ai before initiating a dispute with your bank. We commit to responding within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
Subject to compliance with these Terms, AI content generated from your inputs ("Output Content") belongs to you. You may use Output Content for any lawful purpose permitted under Section 10.
By submitting content to our Service ("Input Content"), you grant PDF.ai a limited, non-exclusive license solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your Input Content for AI model training without your explicit consent.
This Service uses third-party AI model providers, including DeepSeek and other AI infrastructure providers. Output Content may be influenced by these providers' models. We do not guarantee specific output quality and assume no responsibility for content generated by third-party models.
AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying Output Content before relying on it.
You may only use the Service for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms, including personal productivity enhancement, business automation, research, and development activities.

Your use of this Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://pdf.ai/privacy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake, and is not stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or AI output accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDF.ai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms remain effective for the duration of your use of the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in suspected fraud, or are required by law. If we terminate the Service for reasons not attributable to your breach, we will pro-rate refund any prepaid unused portion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@pdf.ai.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@pdf.ai to attempt informal resolution. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Singapore per the arbitration rules there.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before they take effect via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully effective. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and PDF.ai.
